I began my journey with MYD by visiting Marina Square to inquire about renovating my resale executive maisonette. I met with the designer, Qi Herng, who attentively listened to all my needs. With a tight deadline to move in before Chinese New Year on January 25 and a limited budget, I clearly communicated my constraints. We had several discussions in his office to finalize the desired outcomes, and I felt we met our expectations in each session. Qi Herng was patient and open-minded, always ready to accommodate our requests without any frustration, which made negotiations smooth. His clear timeline kept everything transparent and allowed us to easily monitor the progress. Renovations commenced on January 7 and were completed by January 23, ahead of schedule. We removed the existing vinyl tiles and installed new ones on the upper floor, and we also reverted the mega room back into two separate rooms as per the original floor plan. Qi Herng coordinated with contractors (electricians, painters, air conditioning installers, blind installer, cleaner etc) to ensure the work was executed seamlessly and efficiently, with no time wasted during the 17 days. In fact, the handover was completed a day earlier than promised, showcasing his professionalism and meticulous oversight. I highly recommend engaging him. Although he is young and still building his portfolio, his industry knowledge and friendly demeanor made the process enjoyable and rewarding. Thank you once again for making everything possible.
